Personal Projects

During my Internal Honeypot Project from March 2023 to July 2023, in collaboration with the University of South Australia, I conducted extensive research on Honeypots. This involved gaining a profound understanding of their purpose and functionality, analyzing internal threats targeting universities, and identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities. As a result, I developed a comprehensive System Requirement Report outlining necessary specifications for implementing a Honeypot system for a client. Additionally, I created a detailed Threat Report recommending optimal Honeypot software and providing implementation strategies tailored to the context.
In my Gophish project from June 2022 to July 2022, I delved into researching Gophish, an open-source phishing framework, to understand its functionalities and security implications thoroughly. Through hands-on experience, I acquired practical knowledge by installing and configuring Gophish on virtual machines using VirtualBox for safe demonstrations and testing. Furthermore, I honed my skills in crafting convincing phishing email campaigns and setting up targeted scenarios through Gophish customization.
These projects have not only allowed me to deepen my understanding of cybersecurity but also enabled me to develop practical skills that are essential in the field.
