Professional Experience

During my tenure at AIBT in Adelaide, SA, as an IT support engineer from August 2021 to November 2022, I played a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless hardware management.
One of my key responsibilities involved installing operating systems on school laptops and desktops using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, a process that significantly improved efficiency through the use of USB drives. Additionally, I provided crucial support to the IT manager and system engineer in receiving, inventorying, and setting up new servers, thereby facilitating smooth hardware management processes.
Working collaboratively within a 3-member IT department, I addressed a high volume of support tickets ranging from 20 to 35 per day, responding promptly to inquiries related to ticketing and the email system. I also conducted general IT work and maintenance support for various school departments, ensuring that school laptops and computers were regularly updated. Furthermore, I assisted new students in accessing the network and the school's learning management system, fostering a smooth transition into the school environment.
One of my notable contributions was brainstorming 10 innovative ideas for the IT manager, focusing on areas such as textbooks, software, equipment, and security management for the school's network. These ideas aimed to enhance overall efficiency and security within the school's IT infrastructure, demonstrating my proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement.
